Except for January, July and August, when there are no programs, the Emmaus Historical Society holds most of its programs on the third Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church Social Hall at the corner of 5th and Chestnut Streets in Emmaus.
Most special events are held at the Museum at 218 Main Street in Emmaus. Most of our programs and special events are free and open to the public.
Emmaus Heritage Festival will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the grounds of the Emmaus Historical Society, 218 Main St., Emmaus. Hosted by the Emmaus Heritage Alliance, the free, family-friendly event will feature live music, crafts, games, a food truck, Pennsylvania long rifle and blacksmith demonstrations, interactive historical displays, and activities presented by the Emmaus Historical Society, Shelter House, Knauss Homestead, 1803 House, Emmaus Public Library, Emmaus Moravian Church, and Emmaus Main Street Partners. The festival coincides with the America250 PA Emmaus celebration taking place in downtown Emmaus.
